That was fast: Apparel company has 4 Deflategate victory shirts
Sully’s Brand was among the many Greater Boston sports apparel companies to cash in on “Free Brady’’ memorabilia as Tom Brady fought the NFL and Commissioner Roger Goodell to overturn a four-game suspension related to slightly underinflated footballs.
When a federal judge overturned the suspension, Sully’s was ready. The company debuted four new T-shirts on its website almost immediately after the news of Brady’s victory broke Thursday morning.
Sully’s founder Chris Wrenn said he expects to still sell some “Free Brady’’ T-shirts, especially if the NFL appeals the decision. “This is still a fight,’’ he said. But today, Brady, as so often happens, came out the winner—and Sully’s has the shirts to prove it.
