Boston 2024 Presenting Olympic Bid to National Committee Tuesday

AP

The United States Olympic Committee is hearing from the group bidding to bring the Olympics to Boston today.

Boston 2024 and groups from Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, and San Francisco, are presenting their proposals for the 2024 Games to the national committee Tuesday, in Redwood City, Calif. Boston Mayor Martin Walsh will join other representatives of Boston 2024 in presenting the Hub’s bid.

The presentations will help the USOC determine which, if any, city should move forward to the international bidding process. There isn’t a set timetable on when a decision of a potential host city would come. It could come as soon as today, though most Olympic observers seem to think it’s more likely it would come in the next several weeks.
