Market Basket protest organizers are calling for another mass rally on Friday, the same day the company’s board is scheduled to meet in Boston.

The rally will be held at the same Tewksbury store as Monday’s rally, which drew 5,000 supporters. It will begin at 9 a.m. The board meeting is scheduled for the afternoon, according to the Save Market Basket Facebook page. On Facebook, organizers said they hope Friday’s event will be the company’s “biggest and final rally’’ in efforts to reinstate former CEO Arthur T. Demoulas. In a later post, organizers stressed that the “final’’ part is only a hope, saying “we will continue this boycott and rallies until the (board of directors) comes to the only rightful decision, (Demoulas) as CEO with full authority.’’

Employees, customers, and supporters have protested against Market Basket’s leadership in recent days, marking the latest turn in the epic saga of the Demoulas family. Many stores are running out of perishable products as they refuse deliveries, while some customers have staged a boycott.
