Saturday is your last chance to grab breakfast or lunch at Charlie’s Sandwich Shoppe.

In May, the iconic South End eatery perhaps best known for its signature turkey hash announced it would close its doors after 87 years. Co-owner Arthur Majourides told Boston Magazine at the time that he wanted to “go out on a high note.’’ This weekend will mark the end of the run.

Charlie’s will close at 1 p.m., its normal Saturday closing time, an employee reached by phone told Boston.com.
