A Big Ol’ Residential Tower Is Set to Join Boston’s Skyline
Boston’s skyline looks set to welcome its third tallest building—and its tallest residential tower—the Boston Globe reports.
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts said Tuesday it will manage the planned development, which will be located near the Christian Science Plaza. Cambridge developer Carpenter & Co. will build the property, and will get cracking by the end of the year, according to the Globe.
The 60-story building will include hotel rooms and luxury condos.
It will cost $700 million to build, but hey, that’s only $1 million per vertical foot, as the tower is expected to hit 699 feet.
The Globe notes the building is just the tallest of a number of properties set to alter the view of the city from afar.
