One TelexFree Owner Arrested in Worcester
One of TelexFree’s co-owners has been arrested in Worcester, the Boston Globe reports.
James Merrill, whose Marlborough-based company is alleged to have run a global $1 billion pyramid scheme, was arrested by Homeland Security agents today.
Authorities also have a warrant out for Merrill’s business partner, Carlos Wanzeler. However, they said earlier this week that they believe Wanzeler has fled to Brazil.
