Report: Vertex Buildings Sell for $1 Billion

The two Vertex Pharmaceutical buildings on Fan Pier have sold for $1.125 billion, the Boston Business Journal reported today.

Vertex agreed to move from Cambridge to the two 15-story buildings in 2011, when it signed a 15-year lease with Fallon, and formally opened for business over the winter.
