Santa runs on Dunkin’
Like shopping mall Santas getting an early jump on the holidays, Dunkin’ Donuts is rolling out a seasonal menu of beverages that includes newcomer Red Velvet Latte along with “classic holiday favorites’’ Peppermint Mocha and White Chocolate.

Forget the artisanal slush drinks of summer, this is a “festive lineup for the most wonderful time of the year,’’ the Canton-based coffee-and-baked-goods chain suggests.
According to Dunkin’ Donuts, the Red Velvet Latte “combines the sweet taste of red velvet cake and cream cheese frosting, topped with a festive red drizzle.’’
Another new offering seemingly pushes the envelope of fusion cuisine while providing holiday revelers with sensory overload. Orchestrating disparate flavors into a single culinary concoction, Dunkin’ operatives are unveiling the Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate.
On the Dunkin’ website, the chain suggests that this beverage is “the best of both worlds.’’
“Now you can enjoy the doubly tasty sensation of sweet and salted caramel in your cup of hot chocolate,’’ the company says. “Just the thing to warm the spirit.’’
