Kyrie Irving gave his game-worn jersey and shoes to some unsuspecting soldiers in Brooklyn
Having missed the majority of the Celtics’ two games over Veterans Day weekend, Kyrie Irving made sure to recognize a few of the country’s military members Tuesday.
Following the Celtics’ win against the Brooklyn Nets, Irving made his way across the court to a group of four uniformed soldiers, surprising the four service members with his game-worn jersey and shoes.

The Celtics’ win Tuesday night was Irving’s first game back since he broke a bone in his face last Friday. Wearing a protective mask (again), the 25-year-old scored a team-high 25 points and received MVP chants in the 109-102 victory in Brooklyn.
As much as he may have wanted to, he did not give away the mask.
