Even Zaza Pachulia agrees the ‘dance’ he did against the Celtics was bad

With the Golden State Warriors up big in the third quarter of Friday’s game at the Celtics, Zaza Pachulia felt the need to celebrate.

After hitting an open jump shot, the Warriors center broke out what could arguably be described as a dance.

The showboating prompted commentator Jeff Van Gundy to say he “wouldn’t be surprised” if a Celtics player took a cheap shot at Pachulia, though no apparent retribution ever occurred during the Warriors’ blowout win.

After the game, even his Warriors teammates agreed: Zaza’s dance was “terrible.”

For his part, Pachulia told reporters the dance was an “inside joke,” though he admitted it was “pretty bad.”

“It’s all about having fun,” he said.
