Woburn’s Lord Hobo Brewing Co. could have a license for a beer hall of its own before the end of the year.

Lord Hobo was founded by Daniel Lanigan, who, just over a year ago, announced he was spinning off his popular Cambridge beer bar into a massive Woburn-based brewery by the same name. Now, Lanigan is expanding again.

The craft brewery posted to Facebook on Saturday that it’s received site approval for a pouring license from Woburn, with an actual license expected to follow in the coming months.

The brewery, located on 5 Draper St. in Woburn, said their plan is to close the retail room for a few months in order to install a 10 BBL Pilot system and a kitchen, as well as build a 200-seat beer hall with a full bar.

“As you know, our background is building beer enthused restaurant spaces, so we are eager to build out a beer hall that will make us proud,” the post reads. ” … We are super stoked for this. We’ll keep you posted. As always, thank you for your support. Cheers!”

They also said the pilot system will allow them to expand their beer offerings in the future.
