‘Holy s***!’: A great white shark gave this fishing boat a bit of a scare

A young fisherman got some serious competition from another creature looking for a catch on a fishing excursion off the Cape’s Monomoy Island.

A video, captured by Tabatha Eldridge and shared by the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy on Monday, shows the young angler reeling in a striper.

“It’s not letting me pull the line,” he says of his catch.

Suddenly, a shark appears and snaps up the fish, startling the other fishermen on board.

“Holy s***!” one man yells.

“Great video of a white shark breaching as it goes after a striper at the end of a line off Stone Horse Shoals!” the conservancy wrote of the clip.
