‘Hot-headed’ swan rescued amid snowstorm is back out in the wild
A feisty swan rescued on Route 2 amid last weekend’s snowstorm is back out in the wild.
Animal rescuers retrieved the wayward swan from the highway on Saturday with the help of a state trooper before taking it to the Tufts Wildlife Clinic for evaluation. The bird was released Tuesday in Arlington, according to the Animal Rescue League of Boston.

While in captivity, the swan was apparently not pleased.

The swan was released after getting a clean bill of health from Tufts veterinarians, the animal rescue league said. Now, the rescue league hopes the bird to stay out of trouble.
