Writing on the “Critters from My Backyard” Facebook page, the resident said it took six weeks of “moving lights, sensors, and cameras where I thought the bobcat would be” in order to capture the photo of the wild feline.
The bobcat, the only wild cat found in Massachusetts, according to the Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs, is pictured walking away from the camera.
“I incorrectly guessed he would be coming from the other direction,” the resident wrote. “The sensor that he tripped is visible in the lower right.”
