Here is your chance to name a great white shark
The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy (AWSC) is offering an opportunity to name a great white shark as part of Shark Week on Cape Cod, the organization said in a post.

Those who want to participate can go to the Chatham Shark Center at 235 Orleans Road, and purchase a $10 raffle ticket. The winner will be drawn at the end of Shark Week, which lasts from August 5 to August 12.
Shark Week will also feature events like Shark Biology 101 and presentations by researchers. According to the AWSC, all proceeds raised from the raffle will be used to support shark research.
The Chatham-based nonprofit’s goal is to raise awareness of white sharks, the “most magnificent and misunderstood species,” through research and education.
Interactive exhibits, displays, and virtual reality experiences are featured at the Shark Center.
