Dog rescued from Westport farm up for adoption
The dog was one of hundreds of animals found neglected and abused.
A dog rescued last month from a farm in Westport where officials discovered hundreds of neglected and abused animals is ready for adoption.
Bear was one of the dogs rescued from the 70-acre farm, where authorities also found dead sheep and sick animals living in “deplorable conditions.”

Bear was rescued last month from a tenant farm in Westport and is now ready for adoption at the Animal Rescue League of Boston.
“Despite all he has been through, he is a total love and wants nothing more than to shower everyone he meets with kisses,” wrote the Animal Rescue League of Boston on its Facebook page, and posted before and after photos of Bear.
Bear weighs 66 pounds and likes to snuggle, says the Animal Rescue League of Boston.
