NH police searching for missing puppy that fled crash scene

Loto went missing after a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 93.
New Hampshire State Police are seeking the public’s help to find a German Shepherd puppy that went missing after a crash Saturday.
Troopers received a report of a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 93 south in Bow just after 4 p.m. At the scene, police found that a pickup truck had veered off the right side of the road, rolled over, and hit a tree after the driver allegedly fell asleep at the wheel. The truck’s driver, a 21-year-old Rhode Island man, and a female passenger, both sustained multiple injuries and were taken to Concord Hospital, police said.
At the time of the crash, Loto, a 6-month-old German Shepherd mix, jumped from the truck and ran from the scene, according to police. Several people tried to catch Loto, but he escaped and ran through an industrial park near Route 3A, police said.
Police ask that anyone who sees Loto call 603-271-3636.
