Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield of Burlington, Vermont, have for months voiced their support for their state senator’s presidential campaign. In January, they even created a highly symbolic flavor, Bernie’s Yearnings, in honor of Sanders. And now, Ben and Jerry are handing out free samples of their beloved ice cream to the citizens of Boston to further promote the Democratic presidential candidate.
They did it Sunday night at Middle East Upstairs. And they did it Monday afternoon on Newbury Street, where they also posed for fan photos.
