Tasty Burger now serving up breakfast at Back Bay location

Do you want home fries with that?

Now you can have a burger for breakfast, and not just because you woke up after 11 a.m. Tasty Burger announced Tuesday that the Boston burger joint is offering breakfast options at their Back Bay location starting at 7 a.m.

When you pass through the Back Bay T station on your morning commute, you can now grab a “rise ‘n shine burger’’ topped with cheese, a fried egg, and bacon. Or you can choose between bacon, sausage, or their ⅓-pound burger patty for a classic egg and cheese sandwich.

Messier on-the-go options include biscuits and gravy and chicken and waffle dishes, and you can make any breakfast meal a combo with home fries and coffee, tea, or a soft drink. More sweet-than-savory side items include a griddled french toast muffin with nutella and organic steel cut oatmeal with raisins and maple syrup. Tasty Burger now serves a custom organic blend of coffee from Speedwell Coffee, a small-batch roaster based in Plymouth.

Breakfast is served 7 to 11 a.m. Monday through Friday, and currently only at the Back Bay spot (145 Dartmouth Street, Boston). The chain’s newest restaurant in Dudley Square (2200 Washington St., Roxbury), which is set to open early February, will also offer the breakfast menu, though not until a few months after opening.
