21 times Union Square Donuts made us cry
Tears of joy.
Who knew donuts could be sexy?
Union Square Donuts is a Somerville-based bakery that makes beautiful gourmet donuts every single day for the Boston metro area’s hungry masses. After opening in 2013 they got very popular, very quickly–Eater.com deemed them one of the “23 Hottest Doughnut Shops in America Right Now’’ within a year. And USD now has a near-religious following.
Also, their Instagram should be outlawed.
USD’s account, which has nearly 20 thousand followers, is a near-constant barrage of maple bacon and sea salt bourbon caramel donuts. If you’re at work—and far away from the donuts—it’s enough to make you misty.
