Raise a flagon of mead one last time at Medieval Manor
The themed South End spot had been around for more than 40 years.
Medieval Manor, Boston’s Dark Ages-themed theater and dining experience, will officially close its doors in December.
According to a statement released by the restaurant today, “after 42 years and nearly 13,000 performances we will be closing our doors this December. … Thank you for fooling around during dinner. We will miss you very much.’’ The East Berkeley Street institution confirmed this on their website, noting that 2015’s New Year’s Eve celebration will likely be their last show.
Medieval Manor is something of a South End landmark, a haven for performance enthusiasts and hobbyists alike. No reason for closure has been given yet, but tickets are currently on sale for Medieval Manor’s New Year’s Eve celebration.
