It’s out with new, in with the Old at Bully Boy Distillery
Are you the type to order an Old Fashioned at a bar, but too lazy to craft one at home? The kind of person who loves having company over, but definitely doesn’t mix cocktails for guests?
Bully Boy is looking to make things easier on you. The Boston-based distillery is bottling the Old Fashioned—a cocktail typically made with whiskey, bitters, and sugar—and offering it as a seasonal release. This way, you can impress your cocktail-snob friends without the hassle or the mess.
“In concept, the Old Fashioned is easy to make, but we’ve found that they’re actually hard to make well,’’ said Dave Willis, co-founder of Bully Boy Distillers, in a release. “It’s difficult to achieve that perfect ratio of whiskey, sugar, and bitters, but that’s exactly what we’ve done.’’
The Bully Boy Old Fashioned will hit shelves throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island starting in the middle of October and lasting throughout the cold weather months. So warm your bones… the stylish, easy way, of course.
