Cambridge Brewing Company: Back for its 26th run, Cambridge Brewing Company’s Great Pumpkin Ale was the first New England craft beer to revive the pumpkin style from colonial days.

Magic Hat: This year, the Vermont company is releasing its first ever pumpkin ale, Wilhelm Scream (far left), named after the iconic scream sound effect that’s been used in over 200 movies.

Samuel Adams: Pumpkin lovers rejoice—the Boston-based brewer will release three gourd-infused varieties for the fall season, including the Fat Jack (center), brewed with over 28 pounds of pumpkins per barrel.

Harpoon: The Harpoon Brewery, based in Boston’s Seaport District, first added UFO Pumpkin to their line of unfiltered beers in 2011.

Two Roads: A slight twist on the typical pumpkin beer, Roadsmary’s Baby by Two Roads is brewed in rum barrels. The result is a smooth ale with a touch of rum, pumpkin, vanilla, and oak.

Shipyard: Two pumpkin varieties will be available from this Portland, Maine, brewer this year. Pumpkinhead (right) is a crisp wheat ale with a subtle spicy flavor. Their signature series offering, Smashed Pumpkin (left), is a stronger beer (9 percent ABV) with pumpkin and nutmeg aromas.

Smuttynose: The top fall release from the New Hampshire brewer is their Pumpkin Ale, which they are now brewing for the twelfth year.
