This lobster is actually one of a kind
Earlier this summer, a few “rare“ lobsters, notable for their unusual size or color, turned heads when they made appearances in Maine. Sure, they were impressive, but they’ve got nothing on this guy.
Move over, 20-pound “giant’’ lobster, and make way for Shelby, the 418-pound lobster that’s more than 7 feet long and made of milk chocolate.
Shelby hails from Haven’s Candies based in Westerbrook, Maine. The chocolatiers made him to celebrate the shop’s 100th anniversary, The Portland Press Herald reported. More than 40 hours of work went into sculpting Shelby, whose size puts him in the running to be the largest chocolate lobster in the Guinness Book of World Records.
