Scooper Bowl Kicks Off in City Hall Plaza

The three-day all-you-can-eat ice cream bonanza to benefit the Jimmy Fund kicked off in City Hall Plaza today. The 32d annual Scooper Bowl features live music and 42 flavors of sweet frozen confections from the likes of Baskin-Robbins, Ben & Jerry’s, and Friendly’s. The vendors will keep on scooping (it’s all-you-can-eat, after all) from noon to 8 p.m. today, tomorrow, and Thursday. Online passes are no longer available, but tickets can still be purchased at the event and at Walgreens stores — $10 for adults, $5 for kids — and remember, children under three eat for free!
