Chef Andy Husbands admits it: He was a bit of a crybaby on ‘Chopped’

Andy Husbands’ recent appearance on the reality television show “Chopped” didn’t go so well — and the chef and owner of Kendall Square’s The Smoke Shop will be the first to admit it.

When Husbands was eliminated at the end of the first episode of the show’s “Grill Masters” tournament this week, he had a bit of a meltdown in front of the cameras.

“I shouldn’t have lost,” Husbands said after he was axed from the show. “I used the grill just as good — or better — than anybody.”
