New England is beginning to see signs of fall, believe it or not, even though it’s still warm. That first chill in the morning. Pumpkin desserts. Some early signs of changing leaves. And one of the most beloved markers: Cider doughnuts are on the shelves.

It’s a huge benefit of living here during arguably the best season New England offers, and it’s easy to see why. There are hundreds of apple orchards in the region, which serve as the source to make this baked treat covered in a dusting of cinnamon sugar.

That being said, it can be hard to choose where to grab your sweet treat when there are so many options.

So Boston.com is once again asking for our readers’ help. Clearly experts on cider doughnuts, they haven’t wronged us before with picks like Red Apple Farm and Bolton Spring Farm — first place winners for 2022 and 2023, respectively.

But we don’t just want to know where you go for your apple cider fix. Tell us about what makes them delicious and the nostalgic memories that you have of enjoying them during the cooler months.
