These Greater Boston restaurants are offering deals, specials, and community post-election

However you're feeling post-election, your local restaurants are here to bring Boston together.

Pammy's
Pammy's in Cambridge will host a special dinner Wednesday following the election. Handout

They say local restaurants are always there for their communities, through the good and the bad. And for most Massachusetts voters waking up to election results that didn’t go their way, people may feel they need community now more than ever.

Just hours after the presidential race was called Wednesday morning, declaring a second Donald Trump victory, Greater Boston restaurants took to social media to offer food and a space to come together.

Our initial round-up is below, but Boston.com is accepting other entries now through the weekend. It can be an event that’s fun, or one that’s reflective, but it must include food specials or a food discount. E-mail [email protected] to be featured.

Pammy’s

The Cambridge restaurant is hosting a “special dinner” on Wednesday, donating its profits made from sales this evening to Planned Parenthood. Reservations are recommended, but there is space for walk-ins, and those who can’t make it on Wednesday could instead buy a gift card to the restaurant.

Mothership

The neighborhood restaurant in Cambridge typically hosts trivia on Wednesdays, but this Wednesday’s trivia is themed “turn-off-the-news trivia night.” There will also be specials for dinner service.

Goldilox Bagels

Eat your feelings with an order of bagels from this Medford shop. Bagel orders are open now for pick-up Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and some of the proceeds will go to local veteran charity Homes For Our Troops.

Buenas + Super Bien

The shops that sell empanadas at Bow Market and Charles River Speedway, respectively, are offering $1 Mexican sodas and a “space to come scream” in light of the election results.

Third Cliff Bakery

If you need community this week, this Jamaica Plain bakery is offering up their space whether or not you purchase a croissant. Go for WiFi, water, or just to be around people.

Vera’s

Drag Bingo is back at Vera’s in Union Square, this week with a theme: The Mourning After. It’s free to play and starts at 8 p.m.

Off the Grid

If you happen to be on the Cape, maybe a laugh is just what you need post-election. The restaurant in Sandwich is hosting a post-election open mic, and entry is free.

Rebel Rebel

The Bow Market wine bar is hosting a “community soup night” for those who want to hang out with neighbors and learn about community organizations looking for help and volunteers. The soup is free, by the way.
