Known for decadent egg sandwiches sporting names like Carolina Caviar and The Jersey Shore, Mike & Patty’s is a breakfast and lunch destination with locations in the South End and Somerville. In the coming months, it’ll take its stacked sandwiches to Jamaica Plain — this time, with indoor dining.
A representative for the fast-casual eatery told Boston.com that Mike & Patty’s will open its first dine-in location in late 2021 or early 2022, taking over the former Sorella’s location at 386 Centre St.
The 1,000-square-foot space, which is still under construction, will offer the largest menu yet from the sandwich shop, featuring classics from its other two locations along with new sandwiches and sides. An expanded coffee program with custom cold brew will also be available, and the restaurant is applying for a liquor license to allow for a full cocktail menu.
Owners Ania Zaroda and Michael Gurevich took over Mike & Patty’s in Bay Village in 2012, then opened a second outpost at Somerville’s Bow Market in March. The duo also owns Bow Market’s Hot Box, which serves South Shore-style pizza and North Shore-style roast beef sandwiches.
