What’s better than ice cream? Free ice cream.
On Tuesday, Ben & Jerry’s scoop shops will dish out chunky, swirl-filled, and, most importantly, free scoops of ice cream between noon and 8 p.m. for Free Cone Day.
The Vermont-based company has upheld the tradition since 1979, and hands out more than one million scoops worldwide each April to say “thank you” to its customers, according to a press release.
Four Boston-area scoop shops — in the Seaport, on Newbury Street, in Harvard Square, and in the Prudential Center — will serve up the creamy goods. Find more Massachusetts shops near you here.
