Where to snag a free coffee for National Coffee Day
Free coffee? Yes, please.
Coffee shops and restaurants around Greater Boston will serve complimentary java for National Coffee Day on Friday. The freebies include hot coffee, iced coffee, cappuccinos, espressos, and coffee in a can. One spot will even dole out free doughnuts.
“So many people just kind of thrive on coffee,” said Dustin Graham, coffee director at Pavement Coffeehouse, which is giving away shots of espresso with the purchase of coffee. “It’s something that they look for every single morning. I think National Coffee Day allows people to embrace that and maybe go outside the box a little and try something like a straight shot of espresso, which they might not normally get.”
