A fast-casual restaurant on the rise opens its first Boston location this Friday, and it has lobster stir-fry on the menu.

Honeygrow (stylized as honeygrow) started in Philadelphia in 2012, before expanding to 17 locations across the mid-Atlantic region. The new Boston restaurant, located at 1282 Boylston St. in the Fenway neighborhood, will debut on Friday, July 14, and will be open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

“We are incredibly excited to open our first location in the legendary Fenway neighborhood,” said Justin Rosenberg, Honeygrow’s founder and CEO, in a press release. “The fast emerging food scene paired with the overall innovation of the city made it the perfect place for us to expand into.”

The restaurant’s menu will feature made-to-order stir-fry with plenty of customizable options that you will be able to order on a touchscreen kiosk ordering system. The restaurant will also have a cold-press juice bar and a “honeybar,” featuring fresh fruits, local honey, and add-on toppings like plain yogurt, dark chocolate chips, and coconut shavings. Honeygrow professes to use only the freshest ingredients, and backs that claim up by not operating a freezer on the premises.

A few of this location’s signature stir-fry options will be holdovers from their other locations, like the Sweet Soy Five Spice (made with brown rice, togarashi spiced turkey, green beans, red onions, and sesame seeds) and the Sour Cherry BBQ (freshly made egg white noodles, roast pork, bell peppers, green beans, red onions, fried shallots).

But the big attraction will be the Boston-exclusive Maine Lobster Stir Fry, with freshly made egg white noodles, Maine lobster, lobster-tomato broth, fennel, bell peppers, red onions, peas, and herbed bread crumbs.

The spot’s design has a local accent, as well: a mural from Boston illustrator and designer James Weinberg that includes a “green monster” (aka a green dinosaur).
