A local clam shack is reopening very soon
Get ready, South Shore seafood fans.
After a slightly delayed opening due to the recent wintry weather, a South Shore clam shack is set to begin serving up fried seafood goodness next week.
Tony’s Clam Shop, located just off of Wollaston Beach in Quincy, has been feeding hungry beachgoers for more than 50 years. After a five-month hiatus — they closed last season on Oct. 23 — the restaurant announced in a Facebook post that they’ll reopen on Thursday, March 30.
“[Due] to the recent weather we have been experiencing, we’ve decided to give Mother Nature another week to get it right,” the post reads. “Opening day will be Thursday March 30th, fingers crossed.”
