Here’s how you can nab a free burger from Shake Shack
The promotion runs through Feb. 28.
How does a free burger sound? Yeah, thought you might say “good.”
Shake Shack is giving burgers away in celebration of the restaurant’s new nationwide Shack App for iOS. (An Android version of the app is in development.) The burger chain debuted mobile ordering in Massachusetts last month, and has now rolled it out nationwide.
What that means for you: Between now and Feb. 28, if you download the mobile app and enter the promo code “shackappy” while ordering, you can nab a free single ShackBurger.

The free burger deal is available at Shake Shacks across the nation, including the five Massachusetts locations: Chestnut Hill, Harvard Square, Dedham, and in Boston on Newbury Street and Seaport Boulevard. One caveat: Free burgers can’t be redeemed at any of the restaurant’s airport, stadium, or ballpark locations.
