Here are The Boston Globe’s best new Boston restaurants
Forty-seven new restaurants to check out, from a global tapas place in Cambridge to a Sichuan-style eatery in Burlington.
As part of their “Best of the New 2016” series, The Boston Globe has named the 47 best new restaurants in the Boston area. And much like the Globe‘s 2016 Boston-area restaurant awards, Cambridge was a dominant force.
Nearly a quarter of the 47 eateries named in the Globe‘s guide are based in Cambridge, including the Globe‘s restaurant of the year, Little Donkey, a global tapas restaurant in Central Square.
That said, nearly every Boston neighborhood is represented, from the Back Bay (Eataly, Porto) to Dorchester (Lower Mills Tavern, home.stead bakery and cafe), as are the suburbs, from those in the Northwest (Sichuan Gourmet in Burlington, Tres Petite Creperie in Lexington) to other Boston-area towns (RFK Kitchen in Needham).
