Mike’s Pastry will open a third location in Assembly Row
Now you can get their iconic cannoli in Somerville.
Mike’s Pastry, a North End destination, will bring its array of cannoli to Somerville’s Assembly Row, according to Mike’s Pastry General Manager Angelo Papa.
“We are very excited to bring our homemade and handmade cannoli and all our pastries to Assembly Row,” Papa wrote in an email. He confirmed that the Italian bakery’s third location will open in 2017.
Mike’s Pastry, which expanded to Harvard Square in 2014, is expected to open in the Partners Healthcare Building. Mike’s is the first to commit to the 100,000 square feet of retail and dining space available on the building’s first floor. The bakery will be easily accessible via the Assembly Row Orange Line T stop.
This adds to Assembly Row’s accumulating North End-establishment roster—Ernesto’s pizzeria expanded into the Somerville development in 2014.
