Here’s why you’ll likely see long lines at Anna’s Taqueria locations today

The local chain of Mexican eateries is celebrating 30 years with a special promotion.

An Anna's burrito. Handout

$3.50 for an Anna’s super burrito… in this economy!?

Well, kind of.

Anna’s Taqueria is rolling back the clock — and prices — to 1995 on Wednesday, Sept. 10, to celebrate its 30 years in business. The beloved Mexican eateries will be offering up $3.50 super burritos in-store and online (certain toppings may add to the price) for one day only.

Anna’s journey began on Beacon Street in Brookline, and it’s since expanded to 10 outposts, including stretching farther outside the city in Woburn and Natick.
