The couple reportedly tied the knot in Malibu.
Amy Schumer just got married, and her new husband is a famous chef based in Massachusetts.
As first reported by The Blast and later by People, Schumer married chef Chris Fischer in a small ceremony in Malibu on Tuesday. Schumer confirmed the reports by posting photos from the wedding on Instagram with the simple caption, “Yup.”

Schumer quickly followed that up with a text-based Instagram post addressing rumors about the secret wedding. She noted that she wasn’t pregnant and asked that anyone considering sending a gift instead make a donation to Everytown for Gun Safety in the wake of Wednesday’s mass shooting.

Schumer and Fischer only made their relationship “social media official” a day before their wedding, when the comedian posted a photo of herself and Fischer kissing at comedian and TV host Ellen DeGeneres’s birthday party. However, Fischer has popped up in photos on Schumer’s Instagram from time to time.

Fischer runs the Martha’s Vineyard-set Beetlebung Farm, which has been in his family for 250 years. He won the 2016 James Beard Award for American Cooking for his New England recipe-filled “The Beetlebung Farm Cookbook.“
Schumer spent a portion of 2017 in Massachusetts shooting scenes for her film “I Feel Pretty,” which hits theaters June 29.
