This new meal service lets you eat like Tom Brady
Purple Carrot is partnering with the 5-time Super Bowl champ on TB12 Performance Meals.
Attention Patriots fans — you can now eat like Tom Brady without stepping outside your door.Boston-based meal kit company Purple Carrot launched a new subscription Tuesday in partnership with Brady’s company, TB12, featuring plant-based recipes that are gluten-free and limited in soy and refined sugars. For $78 a week, subscribers to TB Performance Meals will get ingredients for three meals, designed to feed two people, that are either recipes the five-time Super Bowl champ has eaten himself with his family or inspired by his food regimen. All the recipes have been approved by the TB12 team, according to Purple Carrot. “The Purple Carrot team has been actively following Tom’s development of the TB12 business over the past few years, and recognized the perfect alignment in our shared food philosophies,” the vegan meal company said in a statement. “Our teams met in the summer of 2016 and developed a fast friendship and trust, and decided to jointly create TB12 Performance Meals to help people achieve and sustain their own peak performance.”
Brady said on Facebook he’s excited to introduce the meals, accompanying his post with the hastag #eatlikeagoat.
“So many times people ask me, ‘What do you do?'” Brady wrote. “Well this is one of the answers! Our bodies are our temples and you get out of it what you put into it.”

While a sample menu lists white lentil risotto with winter roasted vegetables, meyer lemon and cashew gremolata as one meal that could be included in a week, it remains to be seen whether fans will also get the chance to make Brady’s preferred dessert: avocado ice cream.
