Which MLB team has the cheapest beer available? Not the Red Sox
Looking for a cheap beer at a ballpark?
The website VinePair.com compiled 2015 data into infographics this week on the cheapest small beer available at every MLB ballpark, ranking teams from most to least expensive.
And the Red Sox did not fare well.
Once again, the price of that beer available at Fenway Park is more expensive than at any other MLB stadium. Just as it was earlier this year. And last year. And the year before that. And the year before that.
And the year before that.
Vine Pair arranged teams based on the 2015 price of their cheapest small beer available and by the price per ounce of that beer, according to data from Team Marketing Report. The Red Sox came in first — or is it last? — on both charts.
The Red Sox principal owner John Henry also owns Boston.com. The team did not immediately respond to request for comment.
