The future site of a Tree House Brewing taproom will transform into a COVID-19 vaccination clinic on Thursday and Friday.

The Charlton-based brewery announced Tuesday via Twitter that its newly acquired South Deerfield facility will offer vaccinations for eligible populations, which currently include Phase 1 priority groups and individuals 75 and older. The site, located at 1 Community Place, was the former headquarters and warehouse space for the Channing Bete Company.

On Thursday, clinic hours will operate from 9 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Friday’s hours will run from 9:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., and patients visiting on either day will receive the Moderna vaccine. Appointments can be made here.

Tree House revealed in November that it purchased the South Deerfield facility with plans to convert the 100,000-square-foot space into a taproom, On the Fly location, and event space, with a tentative opening date scheduled for this summer. The news came on the heels that the brewery will open a waterfront taproom in Sandwich, also scheduled for this summer.
