You can buy a beer brewed with Marylou’s coffee beans for a limited time
Burke's Alewerks Marylou's Mocha Porter beer will be available for pickup this weekend.
A Hanover brewery is teaming up with a South Shore institution to produce a new limited-edition beer this weekend.
Burke’s Alewerks, a Hanover brewery specializing in European and American style ales that opened in 2018, is releasing a small-batch mocha porter brewed with Marylou’s coffee beans.
Marylou’s announced the collaboration on its Instagram page, writing that it had donated eight pounds of its Famous Blend coffee beans to Burke’s.
The beer will only be available through online ordering on the Burke’s Alewerks website starting Friday at 6 p.m., with curbside pickup available on Saturday and Sunday.
A portion of the proceeds from the beer sales will go to Pink Boots Society, a nationwide advocacy group aiming to help women advance and close the gender gap in beer-related fields.
