Johnny Damon and Adam Rippon join athlete edition of ‘Dancing with the Stars’
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Tonya Harding will also be battling it out on the dance floor for the Mirrorball trophy.
Ten current and former athletes will soon be trading in their sneakers, cleats, and skates for dancing shoes. The all-athlete cast for the latest season of “Dancing with the Stars,” which was revealed Friday on “Good Morning America,” includes former Red Sox outfielder Johnny Damon, Olympian Adam Rippon, NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and former figure skater Tonya Harding.

Massachusetts-native Chris Mazdzer, who won the silver medal for the Luge Men’s Singles at the 2018 Winter Olympics, will also be hitting the dance floor for the four-week competition.
