John Oliver slams Devin Nunes for making ‘Stupid Watergate’ even stupider

After taking a hiatus last week, John Oliver funneled his frustration with the Trump administration into Representative Devin Nunes of California, the Republican chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, which is investigating Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

Building on his notion that President Trump’s missteps involving Russia is a “Stupid Watergate,” Oliver railed against Nunes’ actual intelligence level during HBO’s “Last Week Tonight” on Sunday.
