John Krasinski and James Corden say they were supposed to star in some of Hollywood’s greatest movies

Tina and Amy. Brad and George. Matt and Ben. R2-D2 and C-3PO. Those are just a few of Hollywood’s celebrated twosomes, but one of the greats, apparently, is one that’s gone completely unheard of. Until today.
On Wednesday’s The Late Late Show, James Corden revealed that he and John Krasinski — who hails from Newton — have been Tinseltown’s most talented duo in the making for many, many, many years. The reason nobody’s heard of the pair is because so many irresponsible film editors who clearly have no eye for talent so rudely cut the two from every movie they’ve ever been in together.
“We’ve had the opportunity together to star in some of the greatest motion pictures in history,” Corden said.
“Bizarrely, we’ve been fired from every single one of them,” Krasinski added.
Watch their cut scenes from A Few Good Men, Gone With the Wind, Pulp Fiction, and Into the Woods, and you’ll agree: Hollywood really missed out.
