Matt Damon runs an attack ad to sabotage Jimmy Kimmel’s ‘VP campaign’

Jimmy Kimmel is running for vice president of the United States — an undertaking that nobody has ever taken on independent of a presidential candidate — but his mortal enemy Matt Damon has every intention of obstructing the late-night host’s campaign.

On Tuesday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Kimmel shared an attack ad that has “surfaced” and was paid for by the Citizens for a Kimmel Free America — which is, in Kimmel’s words, a “not-so-super-PAC.” The downright merciless ad calls the VP hopeful “deceitful,” “duplicitous,” and “a liar.” These accusations are backed in the ad by specific instances during which Kimmel humiliated Damon on TV.

Attack ads are often scathing, but this sounds personal.
