The Late Show aired quite the episode on Thursday night. Not only did Elizabeth Warren appear as a guest to rip into Donald Trump for the umpteenth time, Jon Stewart also returned for the second time this week, this time to take over the monologue. And he was mad as hell.
Almost as soon as he sat down in the seat behind the desk, Stewart let loose on Fox News host Sean Hannity and other TV broadcasters and conservatives who he said have contradicted their own points many times in order to display loyalty to Donald Trump.
At the end of the 10-minute segment, which mostly looked at specific Hannity moments, Stewart passionately laid out his argument: “You just want that person to give you your country back because you feel that you’re this country’s rightful owners. There’s only one problem with that. This country isn’t yours. You don’t own it. It never was.”
