Michelle Obama, being the First Lady and all, hasn’t been in the passenger seat of a car in nearly eight years (with the exception of the one time she was teaching her daughter to drive). That is, until she climbed into an SUV next to James Corden for Wednesday’s Carpool Karaoke on The Late Late Show.

Watch as they sing songs from Stevie Wonder and Beyonce, talk about education, and do their own rendition of her and Missy Elliot’s new lady anthem, “This Is for My Girls” (with Missy Elliot in the backseat, of course).

“This is very much a treat,” the First Lady tells Corden. And it really is.
