Kate McKinnon impersonates Hillary Clinton and Ellen DeGeneres to Hillary Clinton and Ellen DeGeneres
All hail Kate McKinnon.
Kate McKinnon, who’s known for impersonating real people on Saturday Night Live, appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show with her Ghostbusters castmates on Wednesday. Also a guest on Wednesday’s show: Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
McKinnon has played both DeGeneres and Clinton numerous times on SNL. So with McKinnon, DeGeneres, and Clinton all the same room, it was a perfect opportunity for some Kate McKinnon impressions.
“Thank you so much for spending your life fighting for the middle class, and for women, and for kids,” McKinnon said to Clinton in an Ellen-like voice. “I’ve also spent my life fighting for kids, but I am talking about baby goats.”
Then she turned to Ellen, and channeled her best Hillary, she said, “Every day we face hard choices, like which statement blazer to wear. When I’m president, I’ll make sure that every American has a fair shot to live up to his or her God-given potential to watch you dance!”
