Dunder Mifflin’s best boss ever Michael Scott might’ve retired from TV, but Steve Carell hasn’t. He’s heading back to the small screen — this time, though, he’ll be behind the scenes.

Angie Tribeca, starring Parks and Recreation’s Rashida Jones, is a new TBS comedy executive produced by Carell and his wife, Nancy Carell, a comedy writer. The show is a satire of cop procedural shows like CSI and Law & Order, which, frankly, is so brilliant, it’s shocking nobody else has thought of it before.

TBS is planning to air the first 10 episodes (season one) of the series for 25 hours straight (the season will repeat five times) beginning Sunday, January 17 at 9 p.m. And it’ll be commercial free.

After the 25-hour marathon, season two of Tribeca will pick up on Monday, January 25 at 9:30 p.m. and will resume airing on a regular week-to-week basis.

Of course, watching a TV series as a day-long marathon is something many are familiar with thanks to streaming services like Netflix and HBOGo. The catch here is that binge-watching will have to happen on TBS’s schedule — not your personal one. Then again, this type of binge-watching is free for everyone who has basic cable.
